On 3/13/24, our Youth in Government (YIG) senior participants presented their project proposal to the City of Hesperia city representatives. This project involved extensive research, talking to Oak Hills staff, vendors and writing up a proposal with lots of documentation. They got the city to give them $3000 (the most of all the high schools in our district) towards an art project for our school. Because they are all seniors, they proposed an art mural with a Bulldog to display in the center of the school for everyone to see that visits OHHS. This will be a gift from their Class of 2024 to remind all that “once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog”. You made us proud YIG seniors!
