October is Cancer Awareness Month so our CMS Jr. Interact members hosted a couple of tables during the month of October so that students could honor someone they know who has been affected by cancer. These cards were then turned into a banner that will hang in our MPR for a couple of weeks.
The Cedar Middle Spartans wrestling team stormed to victory at yesterday's league finals, capturing first place and reclaiming the championship banner after more than five years! Standout individual performances included Daniel Nabor (1st), Jaedyn Martinez (1st), Isaac Martinez (1st), Seth Steede (1st), James Guidubaldi (2nd), Chase Bevan (2nd), Isaic Madrigal (3rd), and Blake Beckman (3rd). This triumph was fueled by the wrestlers' unwavering determination and resilience throughout the season. A huge thank you to all the parents and Cedar staff who supported the team every step of the way—your dedication made this possible!

Hello Spartan Families! Our first School Site Council meeting is tomorrow, October 30th during 7th period, 2:35PM!
Today Mrs. Olsens Theatre and Film Study class created “Spooky” props that had connections to Dark Film Stories! Students conducted a gallery walk analyzing each other’s design concepts and stories!
Our CMS Interact Club and AVID students represented us proudly at the Hesperia Cleanup Day this past Saturday! Cedar Families, today our staff and students will be partaking in the California Shakeout, an earthquake awareness drill every October 16th to promote our commitment to safety to our students and families.
