Good evening Cedar families. This is a reminder that the student drop-off and pick-up is in the back of the school. We have a lot of students being dropped off on Cedar in front of the school which is not safe for our students. Please be sure if you are dropping off or picking up your child to use the proper area to do so. HUSD is seeking feedback from our parents / community regarding Covid 19. Please take a few minutes to take this short survey. Thank you. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8KS8XVY

Good evening Spartan families. Although dangerous objects have not been commonplace or a point of concern at Cedar Middle School, we are aware that they have become a concern at other schools around the country and state. In an effort to be proactive and to continue to protect the safety of all of our students and staff, we would like to remind all students and parents that pursuant California education codes 48915(A)#2 and 48900b and California Penal Code 626.10(a)(1), dangerous objects are not allowed when walking to and from school, while on school property before, during, or after school hours and/or at any school event. Examples of dangerous objects include, but are not limited to, any and all types of knives, lighters, brass knuckles, pepper spray, mace, tasers, stun guns, vape pens, and/or devices usually marketed as self defense tools (batons, kubatons, tactical pens, monkey fists, etc.). Possession of these items, for any reason, could be grounds for Police citation and/or school discipline up to or including expulsion. Cedar Middle School and the Hesperia School Police Department want to provide the safest learning environment possible for our families. If you have any safety concerns or questions please contact the front office at (760) 244-6093 for assistance.
