Honoring Our Heroes Through Words
Mrs. Allsman’s 7th grade Language Arts students have been learning the power of gratitude and reflection by writing heartfelt letters to our Veterans. This special project reminds students that the opportunities they have today exist because of the courage and sacrifices of those who served.
We’re so proud of our students, Javier Flores and Isabella Delgado, whose touching letters were selected to be read at the City of Hesperia Veterans Day Ceremony at Hesperia Lakes. What an incredible honor to represent our school and share their words of appreciation with our community!

The CMS School Site Council is a committee that consists of administrators, three teachers, staff, parents, and THREE STUDENTS. The council is responsible for discussing items such as school business, how the school spends money, what/how information will be shared with the community, etc. Meetings will be held every other month. Our Cedar students and Wellness Peer Advocates spent last week creating a beautiful Día de los Muertos altar. Today, our Spanish 1A students had the opportunity to visit the altar and complete a related class activity. The altar will remain open all week for students to stop by and visit during their lunch time.

October is Cancer Awareness Month so our CMS Jr. Interact members hosted a couple of tables during the month of October so that students could honor someone they know who has been affected by cancer. These cards were then turned into a banner that will hang in our MPR for a couple of weeks.
The Cedar Middle Spartans wrestling team stormed to victory at yesterday's league finals, capturing first place and reclaiming the championship banner after more than five years! Standout individual performances included Daniel Nabor (1st), Jaedyn Martinez (1st), Isaac Martinez (1st), Seth Steede (1st), James Guidubaldi (2nd), Chase Bevan (2nd), Isaic Madrigal (3rd), and Blake Beckman (3rd). This triumph was fueled by the wrestlers' unwavering determination and resilience throughout the season. A huge thank you to all the parents and Cedar staff who supported the team every step of the way—your dedication made this possible!
